Robot Unicorn Attack – Addictive Yet Embarassing

By | Mar 19, 2010

Adult Swim has come out with a game with fantastic mechanics and production values that I feel I must post about it. Robot Unicorn Attack.

You are a multicoloured unicorn galloping through a randomly generated level, either jumping or dashing to avoid stuff that will kill you quickly, and in gameplay terms it works pretty well, probably a bit better than Canabalt does in fact. However, the pink colour, the music and the random dolphins makes this one game you don’t want to play in public.

I know it’s a daunting sounding game, partly because of the word “Unicorn” in the title, but I feel you should play and suffer as much as I have for the last 2 hours. All together now – “Aaaalways, I wanna beee with yoooou….”
