Cats Play Fetch (It’s True)

By Malcolm Owen | Dec 1, 2009

We know dogs already do, but can cats play fetch? Apparently, yes you can…

A genius (if you can call the voice on the video that) has somehow managed to get his cat excited with the prospect of playing fetch, that it actually races after the plastic stick being thrown for it. It really does chase, pick up, retrieve and releases the stick back to the thrower. Granted, it’s not too enthused over walking back, but it’s a start.

Next task for the trainer -- getting chimpanzees off their back.
