Icon A5 – The Wings FOLD!

By | Oct 6, 2008

Reasons to read blogs – discovering almost plausible transportation that does not require a driving licence.
Ed (Lau) has discovered the wonder that is the ICON A5. It’s a small and sleek plane with folding wings. If I had the money and lived on a river or a lake, I’d probably end up getting one. Seriously. Look!

Granted, it’s unlikely that the stars would align enough for this to happen to me, but I want one. The wings fold. FOLD! FOLD DAMNIT! And it’s $139k, which at the current exchange rate is about £79k, which is totally more doable than a Ferrari. And I don’t think Ferrari does a car that has folding wings.

Damn you Lau, damn you for making me want more things that I cannot afford…
