Now, I expect at least half of you to know whom Buffy the Vampire Slayer is. I’m not a huge fan, but my family is. I may not have liked Buffy, but I did like that other Joss “Not Stone” Wheldon project, Serenity. Cue a new project born from the Writer’s Strike, “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog“, a musical-comedy that’s being “broadcast” on the internet, instead of through the TV or theaters first.
There will be 3 installments, on the 15th, 17th and 19th, but they will then disappear on the 20th. After that, they’ll be downloadable and maybe even chucked onto a DVD.
This is pretty gutsy to do, Mr Wheldon. Avoiding the usual avenues and trying to be successful is always a tricky thing to do, but hey, at least I’m looking forward to it…
