mySpace Blocks Letter I – Other Vowels Scared

By Malcolm Owen | Jul 22, 2007

So. Um. Yeah. mySpace (the paragon of website design) have somehow decided to block usage of the letter i on it’s pages. It’s probably a scripting error and not something permanent, because we all know that the users of mySpace are firm believers in using the alphabet to it’s fullest…

Wouldn’t it be funny if it were permanent. I envisage a day when the average person’s mySpace day ends up like that episode of the Simpsons where Mr Burns demands an employee not to use the letter E when begging for his job. “I am a good… work… guy?”

..ndeed, ..t ..s d..ff..cult to wr..te h..gh amounts of ..nsp..red text w..th th..s we..rd ..ssue.
Imagin.. if th..y r..mov..d som.. oth..r l..tt..r inst..ad. Lik.. an important vow..l.

(Indeed, it is difficult to write high amounts of inspired text with this weird issue.
Imagine if they removed some other letter instead. Like an important vowel)
