Are you a Digger? Do you watch Diggnation? Are you not afraid of flying? Good.
Virgin America, in an attempt at quite kick-ass marketing, are into the idea of doing a Diggnation on one of their planes, as it flies between San Francisco and New York. Obviously, they’ve done a show on one of the planes this week, except that it’s grounded because Virgin America still haven’t got authorization from the Department of Transportation to take paying passengers.
America – It’s in your best interests to let VA fly. For a start, they have kick-ass cabins with mood lighting and quite cool in-seat entertainment (someone tried playing Doom on one whilst demonstrating). Secondly, it might make the other airlines take notice and actually make their planes kick-ass too. Thirdly, and most importantly, they’re looking to do a Diggnation in-flight, but with an audience.
At the moment they’re asking people to register their interest in the Diggnation On A Plane, so if you’re an American and watch Kevin and Alex I recommend that you go and fill that page out.
And, if you’re not convinced that VA should fly, think about the double entendres you can make if you ever do fly with Virgin America.
